By accessing or using colt·forge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

colt·forge is a private family management platform that helps households organize recipes, pantry items, meal planning, budgets, trips, and calendar events. The Service is currently in development and is provided for personal, non-commercial household use only.

Access to the Service requires authentication via a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
• Upload or share harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization

The Service integrates with Google services including Google OAuth for authentication, Google Drive, and Google Sheets. Your use of these integrations is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We access only the specific Google data scopes you authorize, and we do not store your Google credentials beyond what is required for service functionality.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We take the security of your data seriously and implement reasonable safeguards to protect it.

The Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to assist with features such as recipe extraction, meal suggestions, and budget recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial, dietary, or medical advice. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by colt·forge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service (such as recipes, notes, and budget data).

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Budget and financial features are tools to assist organization and are not financial advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, colt·forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
